Responsibilities/Qualifications

Homestead is hiring caregivers at a ReadyCare location in Ypsilanti to join our dedicated team. We seek compassionate professionals who are not only skilled in medication administration but also comfortable providing direct care and support to our residents.

 

At ReadyCare our Medication Technicians/Caregivers are responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining medication stock, E-MAR and administering the medications.
  • Reviewing patients' progress and alerting the nursing staff of any changes in the resident.
  • Performing cleaning of room and equipment.
  • Keeping records of resident details, medication, billing and other activities.
  • Providing direct patient care, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and transferring residents.

 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
  • Experience in home care or independent/assisted living facility preferred
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
  • Strong patient care skills and ability to provide compassionate support
  • Ability to be punctual and have good attendance
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Reliable Transpiration

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • Day shift and night shifts
