A Resident Care Supervisor is needed for our Northpoint Village of Utica Assisted Living Facility. The supervisor will train and manage staff and also give care to our residents. Experience supervising staff is a requirement, also the ability to promote a team atmosphere.
This is an on call position, you must be available to be on call for all shifts on a week on/week off basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing caregiving and Med Tech duties to the residents.
- Communicating with Resident Care Coordinator and Director of Nursing regarding staffing needs.
- Ensuring showers and proper care is addressed on the shift.
- Supervisor and lead to all caregivers and med techs on shift.
- Assist with scheduling on an as needed basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years supervising and training caregiving staff required.
- Ability to be on call for all shifts on a week on/week off basis
- Caring and compassion for the elderly.
- A positive attitude and the capacity to work as a team.
- The ability to arrive on time for every shift.
